Lyle Boyd

Lyle Boyd, age 97, passed away on February 12, 2023 at Riverview Health Services in Tomahawk.

Lyle was born on March 11, 1925 in Elton to the late Theodore and Lois (Rice) Boyd.

On October 26, 1947, he was united in marriage to Roberta McGregor in Antigo. She proceeded him in death on August 13, 2004.

Lyle lived, worked, and raised his family in Milwaukee. He worked as a machinist for Harley Davidson and then retired from OMC Corporation in Milwaukee. He then returned to the Antigo area.

He served as a Merchant Marine from 1944-1945.

Lyle is survived by his children, Christopher Boyd of Edgewater, NH, Theodore (Beverly) Boyd of Oak Creek, Lorin Boyd of Henderson, TX, Thomas (Brenda) Boyd of New Berlin, Ellen Pogliano of Rhinelander, Kurt (Susan) Boyd of Milwaukee, Melinda Boyd of Milwaukee, John Boyd of Milwaukee, and Julie Boyd of Milwaukee, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Lyle was preceded in death by brothers Russell Boyd and Alfred Boyd and sisters Virginia and Faye.

Lyle will be entombed in Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
