Lyle Edward Parsons

Lyle E. Parsons passed away on October 27, 2020 in Shawano at the age of 88. Lyle was born on July 31, 1932 in Polar to the late Max and Adeline (Seeman) Parsons. He was raised in Bryant and graduated from Antigo High School in 1950. In 1952 he was united in marriage to Pearl “Pink” Pinkner. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2004. Lyle had a successful and rewarding life including managing a Chevrolet dealership and garage with his father until 1965 and then starting up a Chevrolet-Buick dealership in Oconto Falls. He sold the dealership and retired in 1977. Many years later he started Parsons Land Company. Lyle developed and sold nearly 200 real estate wooded lots which became cabins, cottages, and homes. Lyle was a contractor with U.S. Postal Services where he had two rural box delivery routes and more than 55 years of continued service. He was a member of Arbutus Lutheran Church. He loved to travel area lakes and roads with his amphicar which he owned for over 40 years. He enjoyed entertaining and would often sing and play guitar. Lyle is survived by daughters; Peggy Parsons (Dan), Patti (Ron) Pomasl, Penny (Scott) Schumitsch, and Pami (Steve) Dietzen, grandchildren; KT, Jay, Nick, and Travis, great grandchildren; Kaden, Ella, Lily, Max, and Axton, sister; Maxine Muench, brother; David (Sherri) Parsons, brother-in-law; Gene Schlundt. In addition to his parents and wife, Lyle was preceded in death by a sister; Evelyn Schlundt, grandson; Clint, brother-in-law; Dick Muench, and dear friend Jack Hoffman. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral service will be held. Interment will be in Arbutus Lutheran Cemetery.
