Mabel Bertha Stege

Mabel Stege, age 98, died Saturday, June 5, 2021, at The Bay at Eastview. Mabel was born on August 14, 1922, to the late Henry and Linda (Klusmeyer) Stege in Antigo. Mabel was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1939. She was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory, Eastview Manor and Langlade Memorial Hospital. She took great pride in her home, caring for the lawn and keeping her home neat and tidy. She had a kind heart, and her kindness and generosity were always extended to friends and family in need. Mable was a member of Faith United Church of Christ. Survivors include a niece; Kelly (Bradley) Arrowood, nephews; Kerry, Kevin, Keith Stege, great nieces and nephews; Brittany (Chris), Alex, Nick, and Abby, and a sister-in-law Lucienne Stege. In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by a sister Erma Stege, brothers: Elmer and Ray Stege, and a sister-in-law Patricia Stege. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home. Reverend Wes Jedras will officiate. Interment will be in Antigo Cemetery.
