Margaret Dietrich, of Antigo, died at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Thursday, Nov. 12 under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 91 years old. She was born Sept. 11, 1918 in Wabeno, daughter of the late Herman and Maria (Ashbeck) Niermann. On Dec. 27, 1947 she married the late Arnold Dietrich, and he preceded her in death.Mrs. Dietrich was a graduate of Wabeno High School, and attended nursing school in Milwaukee. She served in the US Army as a nurse, attaining the rank of captain. She was stationed in England, Germany and France during World War II. After her time in the service, she worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Dietrich was a member of Peace Lutheran. She enjoyed travelling.Survivors include 2 daughters, Marie (Jerry) Randl of Antigo, and Laura (Larry) Skiscim of Shallotte, NC ; a sister, Doris (Gene) Bown of Aniwa; 27 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by 4 daughters, Jean Rein, Delores Ziegler, Marilyn Schachtner, and Dori Miller; 2 sisters, Ann Slowey, Ruth Dusing; a brother, Michael Niermann; a grandson, Rick Randl; and a step great-granddaughter Amanda Randl.
