Margaret Florence Koehn, age 90, of Antigo, died Tuesday at the Homme Home Rehabilitation Unit in Wittenberg. Mrs. Koehn was born on October 24, 1922 in Clintonville, WI to the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Veysey) Muthig. She married Herman Koehn in 1941 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winneconne. He preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Koehn attended schools in Clintonville and also had culinary training. She went on to work in food service for various schools, including Omro High School and UW-Oshkosh. She was also the housemother for Delta Sigma Phi. Upon semi-retirement, she and Herman moved to Pickerel Lake, where they owned and operated the Lily Pad. They enjoyed traveling, fishing, snowmobiling and playing pool. Together, Herman and Margaret liked buying and selling collectibles and antiques. She was an avid reader, liked to sewing and polka dancing. In recent years she loved to watch the wildlife outside her apartment window. She was a member of the Jaycettes in Omro, Flames of Pickerel and was a founding member of one of Antigo's Red Hat Societies. Survivors include 2 daughters, Barbara Jo (David) Beck of Greenville and Kathryn (Mike) Engstrom of Omro; a son, Todd (Elaine) Koehn of Antigo; 6 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 grand children, Tanya Joy and Jonette Kay Beck. Following Margaret's wishes no visitation will be held. A committal service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Father Omer Kelley will officiate.
