Margaret Sinkler, lifelong area resident, died Thursday Oct. 25, 2012 at Langlade Hospital under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 93 years old. She was born June 25, 1919 in Neva, daughter of the late Cyrill And Caroline (Kedlec) Benes. She married Chester Sinkler in 1939 in Langlade County. Chester survives and resides in Antigo. Mrs. Sinkler was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, embroidery, going out to eat, visiting her grandchildren, flower gardening, and dancing. She was a Baptist, and loved to read her Bible. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include 15 children, Margie Tatro of Milwaukee, Pat Dezoma of Kenosha, Herb (Stacy) of Kenosha, Bettie Williams of Antigo, Lorraine Dedrick of Antigo, Doris Brown of Antigo, Clara (Donald) Leitzke of Deerbrook, Arlene (Robert) Susek of Milwaukee, Peggy (Gary) Maxfield of Texas, Raymond (Charlene) of Kenosha, Gary of Antigo, Cindie Havner of Texas, Shirley (Randy) Baskin of Texas, David of Wauwatosa, and Barbie (Curtis) Kurszewski of Mukwonago; her twin sister, Helen Zellmer of Rhinelander; a brother Stanley (Lucille) Benes of Bryant; a sister-in-law, Frances Benes of Antigo; 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 40 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Dick and Roger; an infant daughter; 3 brothers, Tony, Cyrill, Frank, and Joe; and 3 sisters, Caroline, Rose, and Mary. A funeral service will take place at noon on Satuday Oct. 27 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with her sons-in-law, Gary Maxfield and Randy Baskin officiating. Visitation will be 9-12 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials in Margaret's name may be directed to LeRoyer Hospice.
