Margie A. Gott

Margie A. Gott, 72 of Antigo died December 18 at Langlade Hospital under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was born July 31, 1937 in Arkansas to the late Eldon and Pearl Anders.Mrs. Gott graduated from high school in Tulsa, OK. She married Kenneth Gott in Houma, Louisiana on November 17, 1957 and he survives. Her husband was in the U.S. Air Force and they lived in Tripoli, Libya and then back to the United States living in Mississippi, Iowa, and Louisiana. In 1967, Mrs. Gott and her family moved to the Radar Base in Antigo, and they have resided here ever since.For many years she worked at the J. C. Penney catalog department in Antigo. She was a Langlade Hospital Volunteer. Mrs. Gott was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Gott truly ejoyed fishing and was a member of a Musky Club. She also liked to bowl.Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Kenneth Gott, Jr.,Sunnyvale, CA and Terry (Margaret) Gott, Antigo; three grandchildren, Michael Gott, Rachel Duchrow and Erin Gott.; two sisters, Mary Meche, Gray, LA and Billie Brumley, Smackover, AR.Her parents, an infant brother and two sisters, Jean and Susie, preceded her in death.
