Marilyn Rae Rusch, age 72, of Antigo died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at her home under the care of her family, dear friends and LeRoyer Hospice. Marilyn was born on February 28, 1947 in Milwaukee to the late Thaddeus and Harriett (Darga) Pelzek. Marilyn was a graduate of Notre Dame High School class of 1965. She also attended Northcentral Technical College. Marilyn was employed by Amron Corporation for many years as a lab technician. She was a member of Antigo United Methodist Church. She loved music, dancing and being with her family. Marilyn was a true patriot and she took great pleasure in displaying that respect through her décor of home and yard. She truly enjoyed visits to hospitals and nursing homes with her certified therapy dog, Tank. She is survived by her daughter; Renae (Kip) Lenzner of Antigo, a son; Troy (Mary) Piskula of Wausau, a stepson; Ryan Rusch, a stepdaughter; Jenny (Chris) Gilbert of Green Bay, 6 grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Nick, Max, Jack, Samantha, Mitchell, and Irina, a sister; Janet (Daron) Webster of Arizona, 5 brothers; Tom (Karen) Pelzek of Ashland, John (Diane) Pelzek of Michigan, Ted (Jean) Pelzek of Milwaukee, Bill (Laurie) Pelzek of New York, Scott (Laurie) Pelzek of White Lake, a sister-in-law; Patricia Pelzek of Milwaukee and her dear canine companion; Tank. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a brother Paul Pelzek. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Antigo United Methodist Church. Reverend Deb Pimm will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service Friday at the Church. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
