Marion Schroepfer-Olsson

Marion Ann Schroepfer-Olsson, age 83, of Antigo died Monday at Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. Marion was born April 9, 1930 to the late Louis and Anna (Schopper) Drescher in Athens, WI. She married Dale Schroepfer on June 11, 1947 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death January 13, 1974. She married Richard Olsson on June12, 1990 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Corvallis, OR. He preceded her death. Marion's family moved to Antigo when she was 12 years old. She was a graduate of Antigo High School. She was later employed at Amron Corporation as a quality control supervisor. Following retirement, she resided for many years in Corvallis, OR. She later returned to Antigo to be near her family. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Survivors include 3 sons, James of Antigo, Pat (Terri) of Longmont, Co, and Paul (Lisa) of Stratford, 6 grandsons, Craig, Tom, Brandon, Bryan, Steve and Casey, 3 daughter-in-laws, Diane Schroepfer, Debbie Bent, and Jane Schroepfer, 2 sisters, Gladys (Jake) Buchberger of Arizona City, AZ, Betty Dahm of KY, 5 brothers, Edward of Leedes, AL, Louie of West Bend, WI, Eldred of Wausau, WI, and Jerry WI. In addition to her husbands, Dale Schroepfer and Richard Olsson, sons, Raymond and Charles, a sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. Funeral service will be held on Friday,October 4 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
