Mark Allan Kemmerling, 54, died, Thursday, August 15 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born June 17, 1959 in Waukesha, WI to Judith Ide (Mike) Meunier who resides in Fond du Lac and the late August Kemmerling. He married Linda Messer in Waupan, WI on Feb. 14, 2009. She survives. Mr. Kemmerling graduated from Waukesha North High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1978 and served until 1982. After the military years he lived in Fond du Lac and worked for 23 years at Quad Graphics until 2007; moving to Deerbrook in 2010 he then worked in maintenance at Merit Gear. He was a member of Faith Center Church of God. He loved living in the northwoods and making a home with Linda in Deerbrook. He enjoyed bow hunting and was an avid Packer fan, race car enthusiast, loved, cars and trucks and watching wildlife. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include children, Shane (Amber) Kemmerling, Dallas, TX, Cody Kemmerling, West Allis, WI; Step-daughters, Kayla (Eric) Holevatz and Chrisy (JeremSy) Staudt, Hartford; Step-son, Mark Linsdau, West Bend; grandson, DeSean and Step-grandchildren, Lucas, Jaidyn, Logan, Chloe, Emma, Layla, Eli, and :little" Richie; sister, Jane Kemmerling, Houston, TX, his twin brother, Mike Kemmerling, Fond du Lac, brother, Matt (Rose) Kemmerling, Fond du Lac; sisters-in-law, Gina (Frank) Zahurones, Bryant, Pam (Bob) Grace, Antigo; brother-in-law, Larry (Dixie) Messer, Antigo; many nieces and nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 17, at noon at the Faith Center Church of God, Antigo. Pastor Danny Pyeatt will officiate. Veteran Military rites will be held at the church following the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Central Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery in King, WI on Monday at 1:00 pm. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
