Mark E. Adams

Mark E. Adams died at his home Monday, May 2, 2011, he was 66 years old. He was born Sept. 18, 1944 to the late Dean and Kathleen (Bellis) Adams in West Allis, WI. Mark married Hannelore "Laura" Schmandt and she preceded him in death in 2007.He grew up in West Allis and then lived and worked in Hartland, later moving up north to the Crandon and Pickerel area and then to White Lake. Mark was a vice president of purchasing and also worked in sales for an office supply store.Mark enjoyed music, playing both piano and guitar and singing along. He played in Gary's Basement Band, Antigo's Music in the Park and at area casinos.He is survived by daughters, Kathleen (Rick) Vande Berg, Fond du Lac, Lisa (Dave) Reish, Waukesha and Michelle (Mark) Gurski, West Allis; stepsons, John (Monica) Jaco, Erin, WI and Jeffrey Jaco, DePere, WI; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren., sisters, Judy, Rosemary and Robin. Mark will be missed by his canine companions.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.In honoring Mark's wishes there will be no services held. A memorial will be established in his name and they may be sent to Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, P.O. Box 13, Antigo, WI 54409.
