Mark Raymond Goodrich of Antigo passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 38.
Mark was born on August 21, 1987 in Greenock, Scotland. Mark graduated from York High in Yorktown, VA in 2006. From a young age, Mark knew he wanted to serve his country. While in high school, he joined ROTC. Upon graduating, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and proudly served as a Military Police Officer for 8 years at the rank of Sargent.
Over the years, Mark lived in Charleston, SC, Okinawa, Japan, and Virgina before settling in Antigo nearly 3 years ago. He worked as a mechanical technician specializing in motorcycles, particularly Ducatis, and most recently for Ford, where he focused on vehicles.
Mark had a passion for dirt bikes, whether it was riding, racing with his dad, or working on them; he had a deep love for working on engines. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, and pride in his Scottish heritage as a member of the Gordon Clan. Mark also enjoyed reading and writing poetry, but above all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends.
Mark is survived by parents Todd (Brenda) Goodrich of Cheboygan, MI and Patricia “Trish” (David) Van Dusen, twin brother Carl (Danny) Goodrich-Gonzalez of Antigo, brother Eric Goodrich of Chesapeake, VA half brother Nate (Corey Brooks) Eckwood of Gourock, Scotland, step-siblings Stevie Bolen (Miguel Barajas) of San Diego, Ken Shell of Yorktown, VA, Patrick Van Dusen of Orlando, FL and Michael (Dani) Van Dusen of Washington State, significant other Alicia Holcomb of Antigo, grandparents Carl (Marcie) Goodrich, Linda Goodrich, and Kristina Eldridge, aunts and uncles Nicola (Alan) Simpson, Karen Coyle, Michelle Coyle, Adam (April) Goodrich, Paula (Mike) Provo, Abby Goodrich, Rachel Eldridge, and Amy Eldridge, and many cousins and friends.
