Mark Ronald Lenaker

Mark Ronald Lenaker, age 52, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Minnesota on September 6th, 2023.

Mark was born on July 30, 1971, in Itasca, IL to the late Ronald and Sylvia (Lindahl) Lenaker.

The Lenaker family moved to Antigo when Mark was a young boy. It was here that he made many lifelong friends and met the love of his life, Suzy. Mark graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1989, went on to attend UW- Stout, and moved to the Twin Cities.

On July 20, 2002, Mark was united in marriage to Suzanne Kruger. Though the couple later divorced, they remained committed to each other as mother and father to their very much loved children, Alexa and Barrett.

Mark was employed in the construction sales industry in the Twin Cities.

Mark enjoyed music, sports, cooking, and reading. He had a passion for and was a very talented drummer playing in several bands in the Twin Cities through the 90s and early 2000s. Despite living in Minnesota, Mark remained a devoted Chicago fan. He loved the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks and took many trips with family to watch games. He was a talented cook and took great pleasure in preparing delicious food and gathering with friends and family to enjoy it. Of all things in life, Mark was most proud of his children and loved them dearly.

Mark had a kind, gentle, and quiet disposition. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Mark is survived by his children Alexa and Barrett, his former wife Suzanne Lenaker, his brothers; Steven (Angie) Lenaker, Paul (Mary Kate) Lenaker, Peter (Jackie) Lenaker, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Remi.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16 at 11:00 AM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until the service at the Funeral Home.
