Marlin Braun

Marlin "Buck" L. Braun, 73, of Antigo died July 20, 2010 at Langlade Hospital in the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family.Mr. Braun was born April 7, 1937 in Antigo, the son of the late Norman and Almara (Benser) Braun. On September 9, 1961 he and Rosemary Hartl were married in St. Louis, MO. She survives.Mr. Braun graduated from White Lake High School in 1955. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Braun was a bricklayer and lived many years in Pickerel and Crandon.He was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Pickerel. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Jim) Blinson, Mesa, AZ and son, Norman (Jacki) Braun, Crandon, WI, six grandchildren, Amanda, Chelsea and Corey Bickler, Josh and Doug Blinson and Marlin Jed Braun, four great grandchildren, Clayton, Emily, Brooklyn and Nekoda. Also survived by sisters, Janice Bocek, Oshkosh, Anna (Chuck) Maenner, Waterloo, WI, brothers, Garlon (Sharon) Braun of Pelican Lake and Ronald (Carol) Braun, Pickerel and sister-in-law, Sue Braun, Pickerel.In addition to his parents a son, Russell Braun and a brother, Marshall Braun, preceded him in death.A memorial service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St John Lutheran Church in Pickerel. Rev. Michael Mathey will officiate.
