Marvin Hansen, age 67, of Milwaukee died Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee.Marvin was born January 5, 1943 in Antigo to the late Ruford and Helen (Fietz) Hansen.He attended Peace Lutheran School and graduated from Antigo High School in 1961. Marvin served in the US Army and then attended U-W Stevens Point. He worked for the Department of Natural Resources and for Milwaukee County as a security officer.Marvin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and baseball.Marvin is survived by a son Tim Hansen of Waukesha and 4 sisters; Shirley (Vilas) Hoague of Janesville, Marlene (David) Below of Antigo, Carol Gisner of Pardeeville, WI and Fern Shumaker of Belvedere, IL. He is further survived by nieces and nephews; Doug (Julie) Below, Jeff (Mary) Below, Dawn (Dave) Brandow, Greg (Kate) Below, Duane (Linda) Hoague, Bob Hoague, Brent (Franca) Gisner, Pam Gisner, Laurie (Greg) Kopatich, and Lisa (Al) Hyser.Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00PM at Peace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 until the service at the church.Rev. Scott Kruse will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Military honors will take place at the cemetery.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Mr. Hansen's name.Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
