Marvin Zaddack, of White Lake, died Sat. Nov. 21 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation. He was 84 years old. Marvin was born May 6, 1925 in Suring, WI to the late Frank and Martha (Helert) Zaddack. On February 22, 1952 he married Minnette "Mickey" Cunard in Suring, WI. She survives. Marvin worked as a fisheries technician for the Department of Natural Resources. He was well known and respected among the fisheries management for ingenuity and development. He also operated M&M Christmas Tree Farm. Marvin lived in Langlade County for over 50 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Pickerel Sportsmen's Club. Marvin loved teaching and sharing the experience of hunting and fishing with youth. Mr. Zaddack was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar where he served on various church boards and was an usher. In addition to his wife, Marvin is survived by a sister Lorraine Halverson of Suring and many friends including Joan and Bill Novak, Todd and Tracy Novak and their family, Troy and Jodie Novak and their family, Virginia and Julie Pomasl, Fritz Buettner, Max and Linda Johnson, and Mike and Mary Winski. He was preceded in death by a brother Lloyd and a sister Melva Gardebrecht. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service Tuesday at the Church. Reverend Nancy Richmond will officiate. Interment will be in St. John's Church Cemetery. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting with services. A memorial will be established in Marvin's name.
