Mary Beth Skidmore

Mary Beth Skidmore of Antigo passed away on March 19, 2025 at home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 73 years old.

Mary was born on February 11, 1952 in Antigo to the late Harold and Verna (Quick) Moss. She graduated from Antigo High School, class of 1970. She was united in marriage to Kent Skidmore. While the couple later divorced they remained family and friends. Mary worked as a receptionist for Langlade Memorial Hospital. She worked there for 35 years and retired in 2017.

Mary enjoyed scrapbooking, music, and attending concerts. She was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR. She always stayed up to date, watching the news. Above all, she cherished time spent with friends and family.

Mary is survived by a daughter Karmen Skidmore of Antigo, grandsons Ryan K. (Shenrae) Juech of Antigo and Brett M. (Ryan) Knipsel of Wausau, great grandsons Robert Dean and Carter James, step great grandsons Jaxon and Aleeyah, sister-in-law Nita, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved kitty Booboo.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by siblings Donny, LuAnn, and Karen.

A celebration of life will be held on April 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Boettcher’s Bar.
