Mary C. Bailey

Mary C. Bailey, formerly of Deerbrook, died Sun. Oct. 3, 2010 at Renaissance Center in Weston. She was 92 years old.She was born Aug. 23, 1918 in Indiana, daughter of the late George and Jenny (Williams) Pence.She married Clayton Bailey on June 20, 1938, and he survives. Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker.Survivors include 3 daughters, Sue (Patrick) McFaul of Mosinee, Ruth (Jim) Niedzolkowski of Massachusetts, and Elizabeth (Rick) Krosnicki of Deerbrook; 3 sons, Clayton (Betty) of California, Earl (Harriet) of Minnesota, and Tim (June) of Antigo; a sister, Betty (Roy) Thompson of Wausau; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Craig Swenson officiating.In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice Program.The Bailey family, along with Mary, would like to thank Tammy and the staff of the Renaissance Assisted Living Facility and the on-call nurses who helped her in her final moments. Also, thank you to her 2 beautiful granddaughters, Sunshine and Summer for making her last months so wonderful!
