Mary C. Brehmer

Mary C. Brehmer, age 95, of Antigo died Tuesday at Bohlman Manor in Birnamwood under the care of Aspirus Hospice.Mary was born January 23,1916 in Antigo to the late Ignatius and Angeline (Stopka) Maciora.She married Clarence Brehmer September 30, 1935 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death October 17, 1978.Mrs. Brehmer worked at Antigo Milk Co-op for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and playing cards.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sophie M Sobol, Angeline Noskowiak and Catherine Sinkler. She is survived by nieces and nephews.Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 AM at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the mass at the church. Father Michael Betley will officiate. Interment will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery.The family wishes to express their gratitude to Aspirus Hospice and Bohlman Manor for the excellent care and compassion.
