Mary Lou Jicha

Mary Lou Jicha, age 73, of Antigo died Saturday June 20, 2009 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.Mary Lou was born July 2, 1935 in the town of Excelsior in Sauk County to the late Edward and Ellen (Hirn) Schneider. On November 5, 1956 she married Kenneth Jicha in Madison, WI. Mrs. Jicha worked as a nursing assistant at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center for 25 years.She was the best "nane" and lived for her grandchildren, and always cared for others before herself. She enjoyed cooking, her yard, bird watching, and her grandson's baseball games. In addition to her husband, Mary Lou is survived by a daughter Pam (Roger) Jankowski of Antigo and a son Randall Jicha of Antigo; 3 grandchildren Jami McDougal of Shawano, Jordan and Jesse Jankowski both of Antigo; 2 sisters Wilma Koenecke of Reedsburg, WI and Audrey (Gene) Sinner of Baraboo, WI; a brother Alfred (Barb) Schneider of Columbus, WI. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jicha was preceded in death by a sister Crystal Herritz and 2 brothers Roger and Ewald Schneider. In honoring Mrs. Jicha's wishes, no services were held.
