Matthew R. Falk

Matthew R. Falk, age 18, of Antigo died Saturday. Matthew was born March 29, 1995, a son of Casey and Sabrina (Winter) Falk of Antigo. He attended Mattoon Grade School and Antigo High School then graduated from Bowler High School in 2013. Matthew had an interest in mythology and aspired to travel and tour Greece and one day teach mythology. He enjoyed superhero movies, music, attending concerts and being surrounded by his many friends. He was a talented craftsman, working with wood. In addition to his parents, survivors include two brothers, Michael of Schofield and Daniel of Antigo, maternal grandparents, Jamie Winter of Shawano and Wes Martin of Green Bay, paternal grandparents Dennis and Rita Falk of Schofield, great grandmother, Geraldine "Gerri" Schira of Wausau, his mother's fiancé, Joseph Linaweaver, an aunt, Stacy (Jeremy) Metko of Mattoon, and uncle, Phillip "Joe" Benanti of Milford, CT. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Matthew's name.
