Melody Ann Drexler

Melody Ann Drexler, age 66, of Lily entered into her eternal home on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Melody was born on April 16, 1956 in Green Bay to the late Herb and Betty (Radley) Shampeau.

She was a graduate of White Lake High School.

On April 17, 1976 she was united in marriage to Gary Drexler. He survives and resides in Lily.

Melody was a homemaker, worked at the Pickerel Post Office and worked on the Jilek Potato Farm.

Melody enjoyed making crafts, being a part of the Langlade County Community Ceramics and Gifts, fishing, camping in the UP, and cooking. She dearly loved her family and friends and was an animal lover as well.

Melody was a member of Christ Central Church in Antigo.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Gary, include a daughter Stacy (Michael) Hollenbeck of Chassell, MI, a son Kent Drexler of Bryant, brothers-in-law; Carl (Sandy) Drexler, Mike (Holly) Drexler, sisters-in-law, Delilah Ross, and Carol (Terry) Braun.

In addition to her parents, Melody was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Keith Ross.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday February 25 at 11:00 AM at Christ Central Church in Antigo. Reverend Danny Pyeatt and Reverend Ervin Messer will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service at the church.
