Michael Fleischman

Michael “Mike” Dan Fleischman, 49, of Antigo, passed away on November 25, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by family.

He was born March 31, 1973, in Rhinelander, to Conrad and Linda (Volkmann) Fleischman. He married Merri-Ann (Kerstetter) Koszarek on May 29, 1999 in Antigo. She survives.

He attended Antigo High School and worked as a machinist. He was an excellent innovator and took great pride in his work. When he wasn't working, he spent his time in his shop, fixing cars, lawnmowers, four wheelers, etc.; and was always willing to help others before helping himself. He had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor.

His most treasured time was spent with his daughter and granddaughter, whom he adored. Family was important to him. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching deer in his yard, and spending time with his wife.

Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother, are a daughter, Amanda Fleischman (Craig), granddaughter, Brynlee; sister, Stacy (Rick) Trzebiatowski; brother, Rodney Fleischman; mother-in-law, Judy (Ron) Korn, all of Antigo; a sister-in-law, Cindy (Dan) Schafer of Aniwa; brothers-in-law, Ken (Lisa) Kerstetter of Hudson, IN and David Kerstetter of Louisville, KY; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Fleischman; sister, Sonja Rector; brother, David Fleischman; nephew, Jerico Herman; step-daughter, Leandra Koszarek; paternal grandparents, Conrad and Lorraine Fleischman, and maternal grandparents, Ernst and Frieda Volkmann.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
