Nancy C. Lewis

Nancy C. Lewis of Antigo passed away on September 26, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 77 years old.

She was born on December 17, 1944 in Antigo, daughter of the late Kennan and Ruby (Rice) Purdy. She married Raymond “Dallas” Lewis in 1962 in Antigo. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2011. She worked as a homemaker, raising her three sons and beloved dogs throughout the years.

She enjoyed volunteering her time at C.A.R., serving as their vice president. She also enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with all her animals. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ.

Survivors include sons, Raymond D. Jr. (Karen) of Antigo, Corey (Cheryl) of Antigo, and Brandon (Jackie) of Antigo, sister Bona De (Richard) Fritsch of Antigo, brothers, Kennan Purdy Jr. (Dora) of Gleason, and Gary Purdy of West Hollywood.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by sister Connie Fritsch.

In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, private services will be held.
