Nancy Wiegert, age 72 of Monico, went home to heaven on July 6, 2024 while at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital.
Nancy was born in Antigo on June 6, 1952 to the late Roy and Frances (Solin) Wiegert. She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1970.
On April 6, 1984, Nancy was united in marriage to Gary Stigelski. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2012.
Nancy was employed by Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital for over 40 years as a Healthcare Unit Coordinator.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Elcho.
She enjoyed being active, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking and her cats. She loved her family dearly and especially treasured the special relationships with her nieces and nephews.
Nancy is survived by a sister Bobbie Paff of Antigo and her children: Christine (Jerry) Brockway and daughter Lilly Helminger, Diane (Craig) Konyn, and Allan Paff and his children Evan, Aadan, and Levi, a brother Roy (Olga) Wiegert of Florida, a sister-in-law Joy (Kris) Pecha and children Josh Pecha and Jennifer Pecha and her children Lexi (Coleton) Armstrong, Cody Beran.
In addition to her parent and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Dennis Paff and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Irene and John Stigelski.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Cemetery. Reverend Paul Radke will officiate. A celebration of life will follow at Northstar Lanes.
Memorials may be given in memory of Nancy to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Elcho or a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital for the excellent care given to Nancy.
