Otto J. Frisch

Otto J. Frisch, Jr., age 97, of Antigo died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Homme Home in Wittenberg. Mr. Frisch was born November 13, 1917 in Deerbrook to the late Otto J. Frisch, Sr. and Mary (Ropek) Frisch. On October 9, 1948 he was united in marriage to Alma Mosher at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. Mr. Frisch attended Rosedale School in Deerbrook. He assisted his father for many years on their dairy farm. He also worked in mink ranching from 1946-1951 and for Antigo Milk Products from 1951-1981. He owned and operated Hilltop Egg Farm from 1960 until his retirement in 1981. Mr. Frisch enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, bowling, and gardening and playing gin rummy. He was a member of Teamsters Union AFL-CIO. He was also a member of Ss. Mary & Hyacinth's Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include, 3 daughters, Barbara, (Peter) Johanek of Wabeno, Jane (William) Kozarek of Antigo, Margaret "Peg" (Gary) Domke of Antigo, 4 sons, Michael (Mary) Frisch of Readfield, WI, Jeffrey Frisch of Antigo, Gregory Frisch of Antigo, Jerome (Kim) Frisch of Antigo, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and 8 step great grandchildren. Mr. Frisch was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Frances Mosher, Emily Sveda, Mary Frisch, Libby Mosher, 3 brothers, James Frisch, Laddie Frisch, Frank Frisch, 2 sister-in-laws, Eleanor Frisch, Lorraine Frisch, 3 brother-in-laws, George Mosher, Ray Mosher, and John Sveda A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Ss. Mary & Hyacinth's Catholic Church. Reverend David Schmidt will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
