Patricia "Patty" Wiedenhoft

Patricia "Patty" Wiedenhoft passed away on June 7, 2022 at Evergreen Terrace, with her daughter by her side, following a difficult, but courageous 10 year battle with dementia. She was 72 years old. Patty was born on September 25, 1949 in Merrill to the late Arthur and Audrey (Henrich) Galkin. She grew up on her family's farm in Gleason on Glakin Road. Patty always considered herself a farm girl. She put in lots of hard work on her family's farm, but also some good stories to tell about those days. She graduated high school and went on to work in multiple positions for Church Mutual, including underwriting and policy information. Patty was know for her funny sense of humor and quick wit when it came to a clever response. She could always light up a room. She also enjoyed traveling and the bond she had with her grandchildren. Patty is survived by children, Tina (Garrel "David) Brewer, Eric Wiedenhoft, and Lisa Wiedenhoft Jaeger, grandchildren, Clayton John "C.J.", Chelsea, Devin, McKayla, Brittany, Amber, and Chloe, siblings, Bonnie Galkin and Mike Galkin. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sister Diana Galkin Latzig. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Evergreen Terrace and their staff for their loving care of Patty. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
