Paul A. Walter

Paul A. Walter, age 92, of Lily died Tuesday at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Paul was born July 22, 1916 in Pelican Lake to the late Joseph and Mary (Schreiber) Walter.Paul married Harriett Weeks November 9, 1940 in Antigo. She preceded him in death on October 10. 1916.Paul was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pickerel. He served in the US Army form November 1942 until December of 1945 in WWII.Mr. Walter worked for Kraft and later managed the Sherwin Williams Paint Store in Antigo.Mr. Walter enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, especially trips to Canada. He was especially fond of his dogs and cats. Mr. Walter was survived by a son Paul (Doris) Walter of Antigo and a special friend Jean Flayter of Lily. He was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.
