Paul Wyatt, age 70, of Bryant died Tuesday at his home. He was under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was born Sept. 24, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late John and Edith (Corrigan) Wyatt. He married Betty Otto on Aug. 23, 1963 in Ft. Worth, TX. She survives and resides in Bryant. Mr. Wyatt graduated from high school in Philadelphia. He joined the US Air Force, where he worked as a Telecommunications Specialist. After his military service, he owned and operated his own office machine repair business. He later worked as an instructor for the Cochise Community College, teaching business machine repair at the prison system in Douglas, AZ. Mr. Wyatt was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Antigo, where he sang in the choir and served on the council. He recently joined St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aniwa, where his wife Betty serves as lay pastor. He touched many lives through his involvement with the Boy Scouts, participating in the organization for 30 years as both scout and leader. Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt enjoyed singing together, performing as "Sounds of Praise" at churches and prisons. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda (David) Scaglione of Orange County, CA; a son, Dan (Jackie) Wyatt of Las Vegas, NV; 2 grandchildren, Wesley and Shelby Wyatt of Las Vegas, NV; and a brother, Russell Wyatt of Framingham, MA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Edith Deininger. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church, with Rev. John Czarnota officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the church, and 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 on Friday. Local veterans will perform military honors at the church, immediately following the service. "You be the best you you can be"
