Peter Fraley

Peter Earl Fraley, age 52, died at his home on January 1, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was born July 24, 1961 in Kenosha to the late Donald Fraley and Judith (Tibbetts) He was united in marriage to Cynthia Pilcher on July 4, 2004 in Lakewood, CO. She survives and resides in Antigo. Mr. Fraley was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1979. He was raised in Antigo. He later moved to Colorado then returned to Antigo in February 2013. He enjoyed working on construction projects and cars. With his skills and kind heart he was always willing to help others. He was a Green Bay Packer fan and a Nascar enthusiast. Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter Heather Fraley, 2 stepsons, Ron (Barb) Beckner and Adam (Stephanie) Spangler both of Colorado, 2 sisters, Deanna (Rick) Lutzow of Antigo and Dawn (Steve) Campbell of Summit Lake, a brother Tim Fraley of Hermitage, TN, and his stepfather Bud Volm of Antigo. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother Judith Volm, 2 brothers, Rick and Todd Fraley, a sister-in-law Linda Fraley, a niece Samantha Fraley, and a step daughter Holly Spangler. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 8 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church. Reverend Karen Tews will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church form 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
