Peter S. Dziondziakowski died Monday, June 10, 2019 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 79 years old. He was born May 24, 1940 in Netta, Poland to the late Peter and Charlotte (Wysocki) Dziondziakowski. He married Mary Catherine Spingola in September of 1968, and she preceded him in death on August 10, 2012. In 1947, Peter and his family came to the United States, settling in Milwaukee. Peter graduated from Notre Dame High School. He was employed as a boilermaker and welder. In 1973 he moved to the Polar area to raise his family. He continued to commute to Milwaukee and work, returning on weekends to operate the family farm. Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing and Two Angels Restaurant. He was quite the jokester with a great sense of humor. Survivors include 3 daughters; Sherry (Ken) Bohn of West Bend, Cindy (Adam) Baginski of Antigo, Melissa Dziondziakowski (Roger) of Antigo, a son; Peter Dzionziakowski of Antigo, a stepdaughter; Kelly Swartz of Milwaukee, a daughter-in-law; Lori Hunt of Milwaukee, 16 grandchildren; Natalie, Keelin, Tiffany, Amanda, Dylan, Ryin, Nick, Samantha, Peter, Mike, Matthew, Anthony, Avery, Jackie, a sister; Monia (George) Jacobson of Greendale, 5 great grandchildren; Emily, Kaylee, Jude, Eathen, Jace, a brother; Richard Dziondziakowski of Oak Creek and a brother-in-law; Richard Gosnell. In addition to his parents and wife, Peter was preceded in death by a grandson; Zachary, a stepson; Joe Hunt, 3 sisters; Irene and Helen Dziondziakowski and Dorothy Dziondziakowski (Gosnell) and a sister-in-law; Alice Dziondziakowski. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Father Matt Simonar officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until noon at funeral home. Interment will be in Town of Polar Cemetery.
