Peter Raymond Wiedenhoft

Peter Raymond Wiedenhoft of Merrill passed away on May 19, 2025 surrounded by his daughter Tina and sister Elva. He was 74 years old.

Peter was born on April 2, 1951 in Merrill to the late Raymond and Juanita (Pfister) Wiedenhoft.

Peter was a jack of all trades, working in many different industries. Most recently he worked in maintenance. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed shooting pool. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with family, friends, and the love of his life, Diane Bushar.

Peter is survived by daughters Tina Wiedenhoft (David Brewer) and Lisa Wiedenhoft, son Eric Wiedenhoft, siblings Elva Prentice, Steve Wiedenhoft, Maxine (Ken) Jones, 7 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and the love of his life, Diane, Peter was preceded in death by siblings Judy (Sheldon “Skip”) and Larry, and brother-in-law Jim Prentice.

In accordance with Peter’s wishes, no services will be held.

Peter’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at hospice and Aspirus Langlade Hospital. Their support and care was most appreciated during this time.
