Phyllis Glenn Nelson

Phyllis Glenn Nelson, age 94, of Antigo, passed away Sunday, September 20. 2026 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice.

Phyllis was born November 11, 1931 in Deerbrook, a daughter of the late Joseph and Oneta (Mishler) Psenicka. Phyllis was united in marriage to Harold Nelson, Sr in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Phyllis was a graduate of Elcho High School class of 1949. She went on to Langlade County Normal School and Olivet University in Kankakee, IL. She taught in Elcho, until becoming a homemaker.

She attended Bible Truth Assembly. She faithfully read and studied the Bible and supported Christian education.

She also enjoyed word puzzles.

Phyllis is survived by her five children; Karmann, Roberta, Glenn, Del and Harold, Jr.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Lionel Psenicka.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00 PM at Hogarty Cemetery.
