Randy Allen Fritsch was set free from his earthly body on June 8, 2024. He was 63 years old.
Randy was born on September 30, 1960 in Antigo to the late Richard and Bonnie (Purdy) Fritsch. Randy graduated from Antigo High School, class of 1978. He went on to obtain a degree from North Central Technical College in Computer Programming and Accounting. On November 29, 1980, he was united in marriage to Dianne (Hansen) at Four Corners Assembly of God. Most recently, Randy worked for Merit Gear.
Randy was known by all for his kind heart. Even in times when Randy attempted to come across as tough or to show off to the grandkids, his kind heart made his quirks shine through. He had a childlike excitement for cheering on and owning a part of the Green Bay Packers. He had a passion for motorcycling and vacationing with family, but only by road trips even though he was famous for getting lost. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, although he would often come home to say the fish didn’t bother him that day. Most of all he treasured time spent with his family. He taught them that happiness is not in things or what others thought. While Randy might not have had the best Harley or the biggest fish, he always let that childlike excitement shine through with pride.
In addition to his wife Dianne, Randy is survived by daughters; Dori Howard of Antigo and RyAnn (Ryan) Filbrandt of Antigo, siblings; Cheryl (Bill) Vehrs of Rib Mountain, Rick (Nancy) Fritsch of Antigo, and Cindy (Terry) Brittenham of Deerbrook, grandchildren; Nathan Howard (Sadie Burkart), Kaelee Howard, Brandi Howard (Austin Rekow), Nicholas Howard, and Luella Filbrandt, and great grandchildren; Sunny, Daisy, and Easton, sister-in-law Denise Hansen, and many nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronald and Patricia Hansen, brother-in-law Rodger Hansen, and many aunts and uncles.
A memorial service for Randy will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Four Corners Assembly of God. A visitation will take place prior to the service at the church from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Town of Polar Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
Randy’s family would like to extend a thank you to Hands with Heart for their loving care, support, and compassion over the years. They would like to extend the most heartfelt thank you to Alan from Hands with Heart who became more than a caregiver; he became an exceptional and honored friend to Randy as well.
