Randy C. Jacob

Randy C. Jacob of Antigo passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2020 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital at the age of 69. Randy was born in Waukesha, WI to the late Norbert and Alice (Tischendorf) Jacob on August 26, 1951. Randy grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Waukesha High School. On April 7, 1990, he was united in marriage to Andrea Schleis. She survives. Randy was a “jack of all trades”. He was hard working and enjoyed a variety of different jobs. His most recent job prior to retirement was at Auto Value. Randy was formerly a member of Rib Mountain Riders, Antigo Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club, the Antigo Stock Car Association, and Antigo Radio Control Car Association. He was always known for staying busy and trying new things. He enjoyed construction, remodeling, inventing, and building racecars and hot rods. Randy loved spending time with the grandchildren. Randy's happy place was the lake home at Lake Metonga with his wife Andrea. In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by step-son; Steven (Mitzi) Rabe of Hortonville, daughters; Suzanne (Matthew) Marquardt of Clintonville and Julie (Logan) Behm of Antigo, step-daughter; Jennifer (Matthew) DeGrave of Lakeville, MN, sister; Linda Jaindl of Homosassa, FL, grandchildren; Bria, Jacob, Trevin, Ellison, Clayton, Aliyah, and Declan, sisters-in-law; Christine Paulson of Clintonville, Victoria (Richard) Jonely of Green Bay, Barbara (Tom) Erwin of Porter, TX, Elizabeth Schleis of Minneapolis, and Mary Schleis of Apple Valley, MN, aunt and Godmother; Clara Bodendorfer of the Milwaukee area, and many other relatives and close friends. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a sister; Kathleen and a brother; Glen, 2 brothers-in-law; Frank Jaindl and Rick Paulson. A public visitation for Randy will be held at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private memorial service will be held. For those attending, social distancing and masks will be required.
