Richard Fransisco Kestly

Richard Kestly, age 96, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Rosalia Gardens.

Richard was born on August 19, 1928, a son of the late Charles and Ann Kestly.

On May 13, 1950 he was united in marriage to Shirley Bovee. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2017.

Richard was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1947.

He served in the National Guard for two years.

He was employed as a sales representative for H. Philips Liquor Company serving the Antigo and Rhinelander region.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include a son John (Margaret Quinlan) Kestly of Rothschild, granddaughters Stacy (Rick) Martin and Sara Kestly, great grandsons Jack Martin and Maximus Martin, great granddaughters Ashley (Cory) Roberts and Audrey Martino, two great great grandsons Roman and Franklin, three sisters Sally Zwicky of Bass Lake, Sandy (Dr. Pete) Vanderhei of Bass Lake, Mary Sue Kestly of Kaukauna and a sister-in-law Gail Kestly of Green Bay.

In addition to his wife and parents, Richard was preceded in death by a brother Fritz and a brother-in-law David Zwicky.

A private service was held with interment in Elmwood cemetery.
