Under the loving care of family and LeRoyer Hospice, Robert (Bob) George Ducklow, crossed over the threshold of life into life eternal into the arms of our Lord Jesus on July 29th, 2014. His life began on October 4th, 1931, the second son of George N. and Minnie (Burkholtz) Ducklow of Neenah, Wisconsin. Robert Resided there until his graduation from Marquette University Dental School in 1955. He married Phyllis Smith in 1953, a love of 61 years. In 1958, he began his dental practice in Neenah. He also served the State Prison system and Native Americans in Wisconsin. He and Phyllis fulfilled their dream of retiring to their beloved Pickerel Lake in 1992. He proudly served his country for 30 years in the Active and Reserve Army and retired as a Colonel. Bob's passions were many: singing, hunting, fishing, golf, watching all sports, especially the Packers. He was a very accomplished trap and skeet shooter. He sang with the Barbershoppers in Neenah, Appleton and Antigo for many years, where he formed cherished friendships. In his later years, he witnessed to others through song with his beautiful baritone voice in and around the Antigo area. He wanted all to know how the Lord heals and loves you. He struggled with cancer for 15 years and never complained but only praised the Lord for each day. Survivors include his loving wife Phyllis and their three children, Tom (Diane), Steven (Gail) and Mary (Roger) Rabiego. Seven grandchildren: Jessica (John)Heath, Nicholas(Alicia) Ducklow, Erik(Kristin)Ducklow, Neil Ducklow, Zachary Rabiego, Cody Rabiego and Benjamin Rabiego. Three Great Grandchildren: Elli, Evie and Jaden. Beloved sisters in law, Dee Ducklow and Dorothy Larsen, Brother in law George Smith, numerous nieces and nephews. We will remember him for his humor and joy in all circumstances. A favorite saying of his was "that reminds me of a song!"
