Robert "Bob" G. Steidl

Robert "Bob" G. Steidl, of Aniwa, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 at his home. He was 51 years old. He was born Dec. 20, 1960 in Merton, son of Barb and the late Dale Steidl. He married Deb Verbanac on April 21, 1979. She survives. Mr. Steidl was employed as a machinist at Timber Pro in Shawano. He enjoyed motocross racing with his son DJ and swimming with his daughter Alisha. Survivors include his wife, Deb; mother, Barb (Jack) Padinger; a daughter, Alisha (Dallas) Davis of Antigo; a son DJ (Deanna) Steidl of Wausau; 2 brothers, Brent (Debbie) Steidl of Stone Bank, and Bruce (Linda) Steidl of Birnamwood; 3 grandchildren, Tommy, Genesis, and Derek; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Steidl, and a brother, Bill. A funeral will take place at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home with Pastor James Reed officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
