Robert M. Debroux

Robert Michael "Bob" Debroux, age 77, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. Bob was born on June 9, 1941 in Antigo to the late Desire and Frances (Schisel) Debroux. On June 11, 1966 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Betty" Chervenka at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. Bob attended Antigo High School. He then moved to Milwaukee where he was employed at Froedert Malt. The couple lived in Milwaukee for 44 years. Upon retirement from Froedert Malt, they moved to Pickerel. Bob continued to work part time for Carter Casino. Bob enjoyed golfing, bowling and his many Canadian fishing trips with his friends. Bob also enjoyed trips to Mole Lake Casino. Betty and Bob truly loved there many pets over the years. Survivors in addition to his wife Betty, include a sister Jean (Joe) Stickney of Antigo, 3 brothers, John Debroux of Antigo, Don (Norma) Debroux of Grafton, Joe (Bev) Debroux of West Bend, many nieces and nephews, and his dear canine companion, Teddy. Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Steinberg, 2 brothers, Glen and Clarence Debroux, and a sister-in-law, Nellie Debroux. In honoring Bob's wishes, no services will be held.
