Rob was a hard worker who also loved what he did. He was proud to provide for his family. Rob worked as a service representative throughout the country in the early years of his career. He worked for multiple companies as a union steel worker, retiring from Bucyrus on April 1, 2016 after 20 years of service there.

He enjoyed landscaping, gardening, hunting, fishing, hiking, cooking, reading, and woodworking. He had a great love for music, movies, muscle cars, his Harley, and car rides. He was also a gun enthusiast. Most of all he treasured time spent with family, friends, and his dogs.

In addition to his wife Melanie, Rob is survived by his children; Robin James Betz (Megan), Randy Lee Betz (Jessica), Terry Austin Betz (Martha), and Cory Brennan Betz (fiancé McKenzie), HIS BELOVED BRYCK MAN, sisters Kathleen Gail Lobue (John) and Loralie Ann Nolet, grandchildren; Tabitha, Sabrina, Nevaeh, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Christian, Austyn, Austin, Randy Jr., Dekoda, Ruby, Jaxson, Jovi, great grandchildren; Giovanni, Elijah, Zerenity, Anealia, and Azriel.
