July 13, 1959 — December 20, 2012

Rodney John "Rod" Tatro, age 53, went to be with the Lord while at his home Thursday at his home in the Town of Polar. Rod was machinist and lead technician at Waukesha Bearing and Hydratight Sweeney for over 30 years. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed teaching his nephews and nieces hunting and fishing skills and was always generous in sharing wild game and fish. Rod was a member of Faith Center Church of God, where he was a deacon, served on the church council, was director of the men's ministry and helped with Operation Compassion Food Bank. He loved the Lord and it was certainly demonstrated in his loving and giving ways. (Elaine) of Conroe, TX, Dennis R., Ted, and Tony all of Antigo, his father-in-law Joe Reszko of Antigo, and many nieces and nephews and members of the Reszko family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Michael David, his mother-in-law Janice Reszko, an infant niece, and a brother-in-law Harvey Mach. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27 at 11:00 am at Faith Center Church of God. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 26 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the service.
