Roger Neal Toth, age 63, of Deerbrook, died September 17, 2023.
Roger was born December 23, 1959 in Wausau to the late William and Margaret (Newman) Toth.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1978.
Roger was married to Vicki Mattsen, she preceded him in death December 20, 2016.
A logger for many years, Roger had a passion for working in the woods as a logger. When his logging days came to and end, Roger continued working with wood as a talented furniture craftsman. He specialized in outdoor log furniture under the name of “Just a Swinging” selling at craft shows and flee markets.
Roger loved a good meal, telling jokes, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and will be remembered for his interesting driving techniques.
Roger will be dearly missed by his special friend Debbie Howard of Antigo, sisters Karen Toth of Antigo and Patsy (Toth) Steinback of Stevens Point, brothers: Jerry (Rosemary) Toth of Wausau, William, Jr. (Laurie) Toth of Antigo, Michael (Charmaine) Toth of Columbus, WI, a stepdaughter Sherri (Todd) Mohr of Eagle River, a stepson David (Lacey) Mattsen of Aniwa, 8 step grandchildren; Kacy, Katie, Jacob, Robbyn, Stephanie, Charlie, Christina, Alexis, 13 step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Roger was preceded in death by 3 nephews.
A celebration in memory of Roger will be held on October 21 from noon until 4:00 PM at the Vilas Town Hall, N5697 Cty Hwy H, Antigo, WI. Food and refreshments will be served. Please bring your memories and stories to share.

I’d Like to think I’ve made one heart a little more gay, that I was able to bring joy because I passed their way. I’d like to think , when I am gone that folks will pause to say: He brought some sunshine to my life I’m glad he passed my way.
