Roger William Beaber Jr, of Mountain, passed away on February 1, 2024 after a 2 and a half year courageous battle with skin cancer. He was under the care of his family and Unity Hospice.

Roger was born on September 17, 1949 in Marinette, WI to the late Roger Sr. and Hildegaard (Odorfer) Beaber. He was united in marriage to Linda (Sells) on July 15, 1972 in New London.

Roger was a graduate of Gillett High School in Gillett, WI. When it came time to choosing a career, he followed in his father’s footsteps as a contractor. He had a successful building career, owning and operating first Tricraft Construction and then Beaber Construction. Roger and Linda spent several years in South Dakota where he could enjoy all his favorite hobbies. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was also a talented woodworker. He treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren doing the things they enjoyed, even gaming on XBox.

Roger attended Rose Hill Evangelical Free Church in South Dakota and several churches in the surrounding Mountain, WI area. He lived out his Christian Faith by serving others. He was a member of The Oconto River Kids Program which provides critically ill children hunting and fishing opportunities. He was also very active with Faith in Action where he used his building talents on many mission trips, building for missionaries around the world.
