Rosemary Ellen Braun

Rosemary Ellen Braun, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Bay at Eastview.

Rosemary was born January 1, 1946 to the late Wenzel and Mary (Small) Hartl in Ontario, Oregon.

She was united in marriage to Marlin Braun on September 9, 1961 in St. Louis, MO. Marlin preceded her in death in 2010.

Rosemary worked in hospital housekeeping, nursing home aide and as a convenience store clerk.

She lived many years in Pickerel and Crandon and then moved to Antigo.

She enjoyed sewing and making various crafts.

Survivors include 2 children: Sandra (James) Blinson of Mesa, AZ, Norman (Jackie) Braun of

Crandon, 5 grandchildren: Amanda (Brian), Cory, Jed, Josh (Melissa), Doug (Sedona), 8 great grandchildren, step brothers: Joe and Allen Hartl, and sisters-in-law: Judy Hartl, Sue Braun, Carol Braun, Sharon Braun, Janice Bocek, Anna (Chuck) Maenner.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by a son Russell Braun, granddaughter Chelsie Bickler, brother Jay Hartl, stepmother Inez Hartl, brothers-in-law, Marshall, Garlon, and Ron Braun.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 31 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 6:30pm.

A remembrance service will be held at 6:30 pm following the visitation.
