Roy M. Perrot, age 74, of Polar passed away suddenly at home Mon. Dec. 27, 2010.He was born in Antigo on Jan. 12, 1936 to the late Melvin and Clara (Hintz) Perrot.In May 1954, he married Sophie Langlois, who preceded him in death. In 1976, he married Judy Graves, and they later divorced. In June 1991, he married Shirley Willette, who survives and resides in Polar.He worked for the City of Antigo from 1957 until his retirement in 1993. He then worked for the Town of Polar. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals, his grandchildren, riding his 4-wheeler, and visiting with friends. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include, 3 daughters, Emily (Patrick) Doucette of Antigo, Kay (Russell) Crum of Antigo, and Kathie (James) Pool of Polar; 2 sons, Eugene "Butch" (Vicki) Perrot of Antigo, and Shawn (Michelle) Perrot of Birnamwood; 3 step-daughters, Tammy (Greg) Bruss, Kim Schmitt (friend Mark), and Patty Gardener, all of Antigo; 2 step-sons, Calvin (Donna) Hafner of Merrill, and Scott (Laura) Hafner of Sheboygan; a sister, Beatrice (Keith) Gee of Oklahoma; 32 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and good friends, Jack, Orlene, and Nick Pavek. In addition to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 infant daughters; a son-in-law, Robert Packard; and a step-son, Dennis Dvorak.Visitation will take place Wed. Dec. 29 from 4-8 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. The visitation will conclude with a brief prayer service at 8:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Donald Engebretson. A memorial will be established in his name.
