Ruth A. Leeftink

Ruth A. Leeftink, age 86, of Mountain, WI died Friday at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. Ruth was born on August 31, 1930 in Wabeno, WI to the late Herman and Dorothy (Tribon) Leeftink. Ruth was a graduate of Racine High School and UW-LaCrosse. She was a swimming instructor in Lakewood, WI and surrounding areas. She went on to teach high school history and economics in Salem, WI. She enjoyed coaching volleyball and basketball. She also worked at Burr Oaks Camp in Mukwonago. Survivors include 2 sisters, Vallie (Eugene) McMahon and Janna Green, sister-in-law Claire Leeftink and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Gerrit Leeftink. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
