Samuel T. Sawyer

Samuel T. Sawyer, 24, of Harwich, MA died October 28, 2022 in Harwich.

Samuel was born June 10, 1998 in Wausau, WI to Thomas Sawyer and Jami West.

He was primarily raised in Harwich, MA with his paternal grandparents, where he graduated Monomog High School. He also spent a lot of time in Illinois and Wisconsin with his mother and her family.

Sam was a jack of all trades, worked in construction, and did various handy work. When he found a job refurbishing antique furniture that became his passion.

Sam loved fishing, riding 4-wheeler, and target practicing at his great grandparents in Deerbrook. He was a great dad who loved his kids and enjoyed spending time at the park with his family and friends. He was known to be a very joyful and funny young man, who was always joking with family and friends. Sam loved inviting people over for coffee and boy did he make some great coffee. He also enjoyed cooking and was very good at it. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother Jami Sanchez (Santiago Sanchez), his father Thomas Sawyer (girlfriend Alicia), his fiancé Sandy Anderson, his children Linda and Jackson Sawyer, siblings Chance and Katie Sawyer, maternal grandparents; Frank and Gina Zahurones, Neal Skidmore (Teresa), Maurice and Melanie West, paternal grandparents; Junior and Ruth Viera, maternal great grandmothers; Mavis Skidmore and Geneva Messer. Sam is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sam was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers; Garth Skidmore and Carl Messer and paternal grandparents; Myron and Catherine Ashley.

A memorial service will be held on November 26, 2022 at 10:00 am at Christ Central Community Church. Pastor Danny Pyeatt will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Pearson Cemetery.
