Sandra Lee Spiegl

Sandra Lee Spiegl, formerly of Antigo, passed away on November 4, 2020 at Brewster Village in Appleton at the age of 76. Sandy was born on November 13, 1943 to the late Alfred and Velda (Rabe) Beckingham in Antigo. Sandy graduated from Antigo High School in 1961. On July 15, 1972, she was united in marriage to Peter Spiegl at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Polar. Sandy formerly resided in Wausau, Fargo, and Greenville. She worked at the Appleton papers, Wipfli Ulrich and Bertelson in Wausua as a data processor. She also worked at Hallmark and Wallpapers To Go in Fargo. Sandy was formerly a member at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo, St. Andrew Lutheran Church in West Fargo, ND until she moved to Greenville where she was most recently a member at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Sandy enjoyed flower gardening, walking, and exploring towns and neighborhoods. She always maintained an immaculate yard. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and most of all being together with family. Sandy was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter; Kelly (Paul) Giese of Greenville, a son; Ryan (Amy) Spiegl of Greenville, sisters; Karen (Mark) Mueller of Spooner, Joan (Gary) Borneman of Weston, and Pam (Barry) Parlier of Schofield and grandchildren; Gavin Giese, Farrah Giese, Porter Spiegl, and Cason Spiegl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers; Michael Beckingham, Larry Beckingham, and Timmy Beckingham. A private funeral service for Sandy will be held. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Mattoon. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brewster Village.
