Sharon L. Cole

Sharon L. Cole of the Town of Wolf River, died at her home on Oct. 18, 2011. She was 65 years old. She was born July 30, 1946 in Ashland County, daughter of the late Kenneth and Lorraine (Buettner) Schlicting. Mrs. Cole was a homemaker. She loved doing craft work, spending time with her grandchildren, and taking rides around the Crocker Hills looking for wildlife. She liked her church, the Apostolic Worship Center in Elton. She is survived by 3 sons, Ben (Kristine) Busch of Shawano, Kenneth (Michelle) mason of Black River Falls, and Norman Mason of Lily; a sister Karen (Duane) Georgeson of Necedah, and a brother, Alfred (Cindy) Schlicting of New Lisbon; and 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by a friend Glen Adkins. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Carl Mason; 2 brothers; Norman Calkins and Dave Calkins; and an infant sister. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Worship Center, with Ward Rehbein officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Worship Center. Burial will follow the service at Elton Cemetery.
