Sharron K. Voight

Sharron K. Voight, of Elcho, passed away at her home on Sun., Jan. 17, 2010. She was 67 years old.She was born on Dec. 21, 1942 in Hammond, IN, daughter of the late Delbert and Evelyn (Van Over) Cross. She graduated from Hammond High School in 1960, and married George Voight on March 26, 1969. He preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 2005.Sharron owned and operated Palace of Mirrors in Summit Lake along with her husband. She was active in the Elcho-Pelican Lake Lioness Club, and served as Elcho Town Treasurer for 4 years. Sharron enjoyed traveling, cribbage, and spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were an especially important part of her life.Survivors include 5 daughters, Carrie (Rob) Olinske of Elcho, Marla (John) Parise of Elcho, Melissa Voight of Elcho, Angela Voight (Butch Lee) of Rhinelander, and Amy Smith (Dean Smith) of Elcho; 3 sons, Bret of West Chester, OH, Jason (Sandra) of New Richmond, and Darin of Elcho; 2 sisters, Phyllis Chaffer of Elmhurst, IL, and Kathy Oudenhoven (Daryl DeZur) of Hortonville; 17 grandchildren, Adam, Chasity, Charity (Jeremy), Mark, Steven, Alec, Sophia, Jacob, Brock, Collin, Adele, Oliver, Spencer, Daniel, Isabel, Evyn, and Peyton; and a great-grandson Kaleb.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a grandson Samuel.
